Need a legit work at home job?
I am a SAHM and I am looking for a legit work at home job. I don’t want to start a home based business, I just want a job where I can make a little extra money to help my husband out. Does anyone know of anything?
These types of jobs definitely exist. I’ve been working from home for almost two years now, first for a software company in customer service and now as a writer and researcher for FlexJobs.com.
There are all sorts of jobs out there for stay at home moms. Some of the job categories you might consider, aside from data entry and customer service and depending on your experience and interests, include administrative, call centers, writing and editing, education, nonprofits, and sales.
Be careful of the keywords you use to search. “Work from home” is a phrase associated with lots of scams and pyramid schemes. Instead, try more safe words like “remote work” and “telecommuting.”
Be aware of the warning signs of scam jobs: Jobs are almost certainly a scam if they promise easy money for easy work, if they require you to “invest” or pay a fee to get the job, if they use all capitalized letters or lots of !!! and $$$ punctuation. Common work-from-home scams include repackaging products, survey taking, stuffing envelopes, and building crafts. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
Also, to find job listings, I would definitely recommend FlexJobs.com (and not just because I work there

Anyone gotten their position through USA Jobs (website)?
Has anyone applied for and gotten a government job using USA job? If you were offered a job, How long did it embezzle for them to make an offer and did they form the offer over the phone, email or did youy have to do and interview first? My husband applied for a few job and recieved a few no’s but there are 2 that we haven’t gotten any response from in over a month. We’re getting anxious and want to know what our probability are of being offered anything. Please tell me anything you know more or less the hiring process. Thanks!

i’m thinking about applying for a U.S. postal service. i’ve been doing some research on the subject of the various postal exams. any advice/suggestions? i’ve bought two study guides; one is called “complete postal exam 473 & 473-C Training Program” and the other “Norman Hall’s Postal Exam Preparation Book” includes ” adjectives major exams”. i just consistency kinda overwhelmed. do i take the 473 because the majority of postal jobs require this audition? or do i take the 460? or should i take both? what job are you eligible when you take the 473? what jobs are you eligible when you pocket the 460? in the study guides the practice test adjectives looked the same.
Anyone hold problems near staying at job?
so for some reason everytime i get a modern job i want another one. i stay there for a couple months next just get feed up with the people i work next to…i feel like i don’t make a contribution them enough time or something. my past job i stayed at for a couple years and loved the people i worked with. I don`t know im just trying to find a place that has that instant nouns with the people? i dunno any suggestion on how to get along with the individuals i work with better? i don’t want to make it appear like i talk to much or something any (like asking all kinds of question to them and stuff). i have had 5 job in the past 6 months and enjoy been miserable at all of them but im pretty sure i convince myself of this. anyone else hold this problem? oh and these are jobs to help me through college nought like a desk job or anything

I applied for a job at a non-profit last year, but didn’t seize hired. Well, I got a letter from them finishing week saying they’re recruiting VISTA volunteers to start working here this summer. The letter said that if I am interested, I should contact this particular personage who works there. I would LOVE to work for this organization, even as a VISTA volunteer. However, I’ve emailed and call their contact person, and she hasn’t returned either of my messages. Should I lately send her a resume? Or should I go through the process of applying through the VISTA/Americorps trellis site? The organization still has my resume, and the process of applying through the VISTA website looks intensely dull. I have an extensive work history and really don’t want to have to completely re-type my resume into the VISTA examine and answer format. Plus, I just want THIS job – I don’t really want to apply for any other VISTA positions. Thanks within advance for any info.

i handed in applications and i asked if i have to call or if the manager would phone call, they told me the manager would but i have have no phone calls and for one application that i put in 3 weeks ago. if they really needed population they would have called me. so should i still phone call?
Applied for a policy assignment. How long back a callback?
I applied for a job with the governing body (SBI) for a laboratory position in Marchl. They called me roughly three weeks later and told me to submit additional paperwork, so I assumed they be interested. Many of the things they wanted were personal approaching SS card, birth cert., passport, credit history, etc. So I called about three weeks ago and they told me they be in the process of setting up interviews. It is not end of June almost three months following and It just seems resembling its taking forever. But my husband said that anything that the government does is slow. Plus, I’m nervous something like all that info that I gave to them and enjoy not heard anything. Should I call posterior to check the status of my application or just wait? Anyone enjoy experiences with this?
