What work at home jobs are real?
I am looking for a envelope stuffing or similar easy work at home job that actually works. I know some online says for so much money you can work at home. I don’t believe them. Anyone who has done some and it really works, please let me know. Thanks
The envelope stuffing program I tried was a total scam. They asked me to send in like $20 and then I’d be paid $5 per envelope. What they forgot to mention was, that was per envelope RETURNED not sent out. So I spent a ton on postage and when they didn’t get any orders from it, I got the shaft.
Having been in your situation a little while back I looked into a LOT of programs, some of which were scams (a good many), some of which paid but not enough to make it worth your time, and a very few that actually worked.
Be wary of programs that want you to pay a large start-up fee. Read thoroughly their terms of service and make sure they are going to be offering you a service worth that fee.
In resources I will list a few of the companies that I’ve found to actually pay worth the time I put into them. Keep in mind that not every program will work for you and be selective. Track the results you get from each program.

Making Money through Data Entry / Home Typing
Hello, I am Kush and would like to uncover the mystery behind some of the adverts that ask for some thing like “Home Data Entry Clerk / Typist Wanted?”
Some days back, I was surfing the internet to find some source of part time income by doing data entry for clients. To my surprise, there were lot of adverts in the online newspaper. I clicked on one advert that said “Earn up to £250 – £500 per week by Doing Data Entry From Your Home” and I got quite excited and emailed my resume along with the covering letter to the advertiser.
Next day, I received an email reply stating that I was an excellent candidate for this position and they would love to have me on board. The email content was quite lengthy and contained a lot of carefully worded information on how to go about doing the job… It also asked for a £9.99 fee just to cover the cost of training materials explaining that this is a non refundable fee and cannot be deducted from the first pay because if the candidate does not generate any revenue, they will not be able to recover the cost of training material. In the end, it said, “if you are interested please reply back with “Payment” in the subject line so that the payment instructions can be sent”.
I replied as instructed in the mail as £250 – £500 would be a fantastic opportunity for me, also, I was willing to take risk of £9.99 even though I had read in the past that any data entry positions asking for money upfront are likely to be Scam. I wanted to understand the scheme behind it.
Once I made the payment via Paypal, I received an eBook that contained complete information on how to go about this “business”.
After reading the book, I came to know that there is no data entry work or a company wanting you to do the job for them; On the contrary, it contained detailed information about how you should go about advertising Work from Home / Data Entry positions using Free Classified sites. In short, how to make other people fall into the same trap as the one you have fallen into. Towards the end the eBook said, even if you have not liked the idea, give it a go and you will be amazed with the results.
I did not go any further because I was not quite impressed with the idea and although it claimed to be legal and had potential to make money, It was against my ethics. Instead thought of writing this article so that other people who are looking for genuine Data Entry Work do not fall into this Trap.
