I don’t have microsoft word??
I am typing something for school and I need to be able to acess it on the schools computer but type it at home but the problem is that at home I don’t have Microsoft Word, I do have Microsoft Works though, My question is if the school computer have Word and we have works how can I bring my file from home to the school on my flash drive?? What format do I save it as?? Here are the choices:
Word Document (*.wps)
Rich Text Format (*.rtf)
Text File (*.text ; *.csv)
HTML Document (*.htm ; *.htm; *.htx)
Windows Write 3.0 (*.WRI)
There are 14 other options but they are all about works which I don’t think would work!! I don’t care if it dosen’t keep the format (Font, size…) but it needs to have all of the text and the text also needs to be able to be edited and printed at school and not just viewed!!
you can use the RTF(rich text format) format, it is fully compatible with all the microsoft Word versions, even though you are not requiring it, all the formatting and font sizes will be saved properly.
TEXT FILE will also work, but formatting&fonts wil be lost.
Html is also a choice and microsoft word will keep most of the fonts & formatting,but not all of it.
